Therapist-informed toy recommendations for children with cerebral palsy ages 0–3 — organized by therapy goal and motor profile.
Each section links to the full goal page for more options.
Building whatever grasp is available — one-handed options matter for hemiplegia
Using whatever movement is reliable to activate toys — builds agency and communication
Supporting movement at every level — from tummy time through whatever mobility is possible
Cerebral palsy presents very differently from child to child. Motor profiles, affected limbs, and support needs vary enormously. Toy selection should be guided by your child's OT and PT who know their specific motor profile. Switch adaptation options should be discussed with your OT or AT specialist.
